Based in the Philadelphia office, John is a member of Howard Fischer Associates Executive Committee and has developed a proven ability to advise senior
executives on the process of identifying, attracting and evaluating leaders in order to build successful companies. Throughout his HFA career, John has
completed CEO, CFO, CMO and other top management searches. His diverse client work includes leading media, technology, communications and consumer
companies, as well as other multinational corporations. As a Partner in the firm, John leverages his own personal business experience as he has
participated in two initial public offerings and has led high performing teams, which enable him to understand growth businesses and the importance of
leadership.
Prior to joining Howard Fischer Associates, John worked for a publicly held international search firm, where he executed searches across various
industries with an emphasis on Information Technology positions.
Earlier in his career, John was a Human Resources Manager for Capital One Financial. During this time, John specialized in the recruitment of senior
level operations and analytical executives. As a result of his contribution, Capital One grew from a small regional bankcard operation into one of the
largest diversified credit card companies in the world.
John graduated from Hampden Sydney College in 1990 and following graduation, served as Assistant Dean of Admissions. Outside of his professional
responsibilities, John is a former Board Member for PhillyCarShare; a local non-for-profit organization dedicated providing community-based car sharing
in the Philadelphia area.
